The board approved long-term LNG sourcing deals with international suppliers for 0.8 million tonnes a year, linked to Henry Hub, for up to 10 years, and regasification capacity at GSPC LNG's Mundra terminal. Standalone Q2 revenue rose 59% to Rs 9,826.08 crore and profit after tax rose 22% to Rs 639.27 crore. The gas transmission business was demerged into GSPL Transmission Ltd, with one GTL share for every three Gujarat Energy shares.
Higher profit and secured LNG capacity support growth, but Henry Hub pricing, currency costs and unresolved tax and gas-sale claims remain risks.
