HGM Limited's board, meeting on August 20, 2025, approved the acquisition of 100% equity stake in Aidéo Technologies LLC, a US-based AI-powered autonomous medical coding platform serving the revenue cycle management (RCM) industry. The deal, valued at up to Rs. 14.08 Crores, will be executed through HGM's wholly owned US subsidiary, Healthcare Capital Holdings LLC (HCH), via issuance of HCH Class B Preferred Stock (non-cash). Aidéo, headquartered in Las Vegas, reported turnover of Rs. 18.96 Crore in FY24, up from Rs. 11.70 Crore in FY23 and Rs. 7.44 Crore in FY22. The transaction is expected to close in August 2025, requires no prior regulatory approvals, is not a related-party deal, and is done at arm's length.
This acquisition strengthens HGM's AI-driven healthcare services platform, adding autonomous medical coding capabilities to its existing RCM and healthcare analytics portfolio. While the deal size is modest relative to HGM's scale, it signals a clear strategic pivot toward high-growth AI healthcare automation, which could be viewed positively by investors betting on the company's healthcare transformation.
