Hariom Pipe Industries signed a non-binding agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board for an estimated Rs. 700 crore integrated steel plant at its existing D. Hirehal unit. The board will support land allotment and consider incentives, subject to government approvals. The agreement is valid for 12 months; implementation needs clearances and approvals.
The project could expand capacity and improve access to land and incentives, but the non-binding deal still faces funding, approval and execution risk.
