Havells India plans to add 150,000 washing machines per year at its existing Ghiloth plant by December 2026, raising annual capacity from 680,000 to 830,000 units. The expansion requires about INR 60 crore, funded by internally generated funds. Plant utilization was 52% in the first half of FY 2025-26.
Higher capacity could support washing machine growth, while internal funding reduces debt risk. With utilization at 52%, execution and demand remain important.
