HCLTech's HCLSoftware division will acquire 100 percent of Wobby BV, a Belgium-based early-stage AI startup offering AI data analyst agents for data warehouses, for EUR 4.5 million in an all-cash deal. Wobby, founded in 2023, reported revenue of EUR 0.1 million and a loss of EUR 0.3 million in 2024. The acquisition will add agentic AI capabilities to Actian, HCLSoftware's Data and AI division, supporting GenAI adoption for enterprise clients. Closing expected by February 2026, subject to Belgian FDI approval.
Small tuck-in deal strengthens HCLTech's GenAI and data analytics portfolio through Actian; financially immaterial given Wobby's tiny revenue base.
