Hi-Tech Pipes laid the foundation stone for a Greenfield manufacturing project at Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh near Bengaluru. The new facility will add 0.15 Million Tonnes Per Annum capacity focused on value-added coated steel products. Total investment is about Rs. 100 crore, funded entirely through internal accruals. The project is expected to be completed by Q2 FY28. The company currently operates at 0.75 MTPA capacity with 66% utilization, almost at peak levels.
Capacity addition of 0.15 MTPA supports growth toward 2 MTPA target. Self-funded capex signals financial discipline. Long-term positive for shareholders.
