On the reaction day the stock moved 2.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.5 pts more than its Iron & Steel Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Hi-Tech Pipes has begun commercial production at its new Sikandrabad Unit-III greenfield facility in Uttar Pradesh, adding 1,20,000 MTPA of capacity for ERW pipes and hollow sections. This lifts total installed capacity to about 1.05 million tons. The project cost Rs 85 crore, funded entirely from internal accruals. The company says it now plans to add another 1 million tons of capacity in the medium term.
Positive for revenue and margins through operating leverage. Funded internally, so no dilution. Roadmap for another 1 MT expansion adds visibility.
