Himadri Speciality Chemical has started commercial production of a new 70,000 MTPA Speciality Carbon Black line at its Mahistikry facility in Hooghly, West Bengal, effective 24 February 2026. This is the completion of a brownfield expansion first announced in April 2024. With this addition, the company's total Carbon Black capacity rises to 2,50,000 MTPA, including 1,30,000 MTPA of Speciality Carbon Black at Mahistikry.
