Himalaya Food International has received a long-term bulk export order from US Foods (USA), one of America's largest food service distributors, for its Himalaya French Fries brand. The order covers 75 containers totaling 3.6 million lbs (around 1,633 metric tons), packed in 30 lbs branded boxes. Weekly shipments have started and the full delivery will run through November 2025. Production is being handled by a contract manufacturer in Gujarat under the company's quality control until its own French Fry production line starts later this year. The order is being facilitated through the company's US associate Himalaya International Inc. (DBA Global Food), with no commercial margin taken by that entity.
This is the company's first confirmed recurring export relationship with a major US food service distributor and the management says it is expected to significantly lift revenue and utilization of its French Fries unit. For shareholders, this signals entry into a large, recurring US export market which could be a meaningful revenue contributor going forward.
