Himalaya Food International has secured a long-term bulk export order from Penobscot Foods, a major US food service distributor based in Maine. The order is for 30,800 cases (17.5 lbs each) of Himalaya Baked Potato Skins under the McRum brand, totalling 0.54 million lbs, to be delivered to North East USA. Shipments will start from June 2025, with 2,200 cases dispatched every two weeks over roughly 7 months. The order is routed through the company's US associate, Himalaya International Inc. (DBA Global Food), which handles logistics and regulatory compliance without earning any commercial margin. The company describes this as the start of a relationship with a major food service distributor and expects it to significantly boost revenues and capacity utilisation of its Baked Potato Skins production unit.
