Hind Rectifiers Limited has completed the expansion and backward integration project at its Sinnar plant. The new facility will manufacture Continuously Transposed Conductor (CTC), Enameled Paper Insulated Copper Conductor (EPICC), and Paper Insulated Copper Conductor (PICC). The plant was put to use on 29th September 2025, and commercial production is expected to begin within 30 days. The company states this initiative will reduce dependence on external vendors, optimize costs, and improve margins by streamlining the supply chain.
Positive for shareholders — backward integration should lower input costs, improve supply chain reliability, and support margin expansion once commercial production begins in late October 2025.
