HAL inaugurated its third LCA Mk1A Tejas line and second HTT-40 trainer line at Nashik on October 17. The new Tejas line can build eight aircraft per year, taking total capacity to 24 a year, and produced the first aircraft from the facility. The Tejas line was completed in two years. The expansion has created around 1,000 jobs and linked more than 40 industry partners.
Higher output can support faster deliveries and revenue growth, but no order value, profit forecast or financial guidance was announced.
