On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.9 pts more than its Auto Components & Equipments peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Hindustan Composites completed a postal ballot where shareholders approved the sale of its Friction Business Undertaking on a slump sale basis under Section 180(1)(a) of the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Regulation 37A. Of the 14,769,000 total shares, 623,686 valid votes were polled, with 98.96% voting in favour and 1.04% against. Promoters holding 11,073,060 shares did not cast votes. The special resolution was deemed passed on 8 August 2026 and results declared on 11 August 2026.
Shareholders have cleared the company to divest its Friction Business, a key undertaking; the slump sale proceeds and terms will drive near-term stock reaction.
