On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.7 pts more than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
HCC, through its JV with VCCL where it holds a 65 percent stake, has secured a contract worth about Rs 901 crore from Northeast Frontier Railway. The work covers construction of New Tunnel-28, a 3.5 km main tunnel on the Tupul-Imphal new broad gauge railway line. Scope includes design, engineering, ballast-less track installation, tunnel ventilation systems, electro-mechanical works, approach roads and ancillary construction.
Strengthens order book; positive for revenue visibility in transport infrastructure over the project timeline.
