On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.0 pts more than its Oil Exploration & Production peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

HOEC, acting on behalf of its JV partners Oil India and Indian Oil Corporation, has executed a definitive agreement to take over the Hollong Modular Gas Processing Plant (HMGPP) in the Dirok Gas and Condensate field in Assam from UK-based Expro North Sea Limited. Operations were taken over on October 14, 2026, with all ENS staff transferred to HOEC. The takeover enables capacity expansion to handle higher volumes from three new approved wells, and supports future drilling at North Dirok and Greater Dirok assets.
Positive for shareholders as it boosts operational control, enables capacity expansion, and supports future production growth from new Dirok wells.
