HPCL's joint venture HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) has declared and achieved the Actual Date of Commencement of Commercial Operations on 22 June 2026. Lead banker State Bank of India has confirmed the milestone under the Rupee Term Loan Facility Agreement. This follows HPCL's earlier communication on 18 June 2026 about the start of the Crude Distillation Unit and other downstream units at the Rajasthan refinery. HPCL described it as a major milestone for the project.
Positive long-term signal; the JV refinery is now operational and can start contributing to revenue and earnings, supporting HPCL's refining capacity growth.
