On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts less than Nifty 100 and 0.2 pts less than its Fast Moving Consumer Goods peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
HUL received the certified NCLT order sanctioning the demerger of its Ice Cream Business (brands Kwality Wall's, Cornetto, Magnum) into wholly owned subsidiary Kwality Wall's (India) Limited. Share entitlement ratio is 1:1, so HUL shareholders will get 1 share of Kwality Wall's for every HUL share held. This follows parent Unilever PLC's global plan to separate its ice cream business. Kwality Wall's, currently unlisted, will become a separately listed entity once the scheme becomes effective.
HUL shareholders to receive 1 Kwality Wall's share per HUL share held once scheme is effective. Kwality Wall's to list separately.
