On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and in line with its Consumer Durables peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Hindware Home Innovation's board approved making Hintastica a wholly owned subsidiary. The company will invest up to INR 15 crore via rights issue and buy Atlantic's 5,48,787 shares for about INR 2.79 crore. Atlantic declined the rights issue and will exit. Post deal, the joint venture ends and Hintastica becomes a 100% subsidiary. Water heater business continues under the hindware brand. A INR 25 crore corporate guarantee was also extended.
Full ownership of water heater business. Total cash outlay about INR 17.8 crore plus INR 25 crore guarantee. Marginally positive for strategic control.
