HOAC Foods began commercial production on 5 November 2026 at its new Vidisha plant in Madhya Pradesh, after trials ended on 4 November. The fully automated facility covers wheat cleaning and flour milling, spices, and edible oils. Capacity includes wheat cleaning of 4,000 kg per hour, atta milling of 2,000-2,500 kg per hour, oilseed crushing of 6,000-7,000 kg per 24 hours, edible oil output of 3,500-4,000 kg per 24 hours, and spice processing of 270-280 kg per hour.
New capacity may lower labour and power costs per unit, improve consistency and support wider distribution. Benefits depend on demand, capacity use and the ramp-up pace.
