Honasa Consumer Limited, the parent company of Mamaearth, has completed the acquisition of 95% of the equity share capital of BTM Ventures Private Limited (BVPL), which sells men's personal care products under the brand 'Reginald Men'. The deal was done through a secondary purchase of shares at an equity value of INR 197.96 Crores, which includes INR 12.71 Crores in cash on BVPL's books as of the closing date. As a result of this acquisition, BVPL has now become a subsidiary of Honasa Consumer.
This move expands Honasa's portfolio into the men's grooming segment, diversifying beyond its core Mamaearth brand and potentially opening a new revenue stream. For shareholders, the INR 197.96 Crore cash outlay is a notable investment that could be watched for revenue contribution and integration progress in coming quarters.
