HUDCO has signed a non-binding MoU with Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company Limited (MPUDCL) on 11th July 2025 at Indore. Under this agreement, HUDCO will extend financial assistance of Rs. 1,00,000 crore over a period of five years for various housing and infrastructure projects in Madhya Pradesh. In addition to funding, HUDCO will also provide consultancy services and capacity-building support for the successful implementation of these projects. The MoU was signed in the presence of senior state government officials and HUDCO's Chairman & Managing Director.
This is a positive development for HUDCO shareholders as it represents a substantial potential business pipeline aligned with the company's core housing finance operations. However, since the MoU is non-binding, actual disbursements will depend on project execution and approvals, so investors should not treat the Rs. 1 lakh crore figure as guaranteed business.
