Hyundai Motor India Limited reported standalone revenue of ₹6,89,905 million for FY2026, up 2% from ₹6,76,538 million in FY2025. However, standalone profit after tax declined 3.1% to ₹53,225 million from ₹54,922 million last year. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew 2.3% to ₹7,07,633 million while PAT fell 3.7% to ₹54,315 million. EPS decreased to ₹65.50 (standalone) and ₹66.85 (consolidated) from ₹67.59 and ₹69.41 respectively. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹21 per share (face value ₹10) for FY2026, subject to shareholder approval. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated financial statements.
The stock may face mild pressure as profit declined despite marginal revenue growth, indicating margin compression. However, the clean audit opinion and dividend announcement provide some support. The higher cash balances (₹1,00,427 million vs ₹81,353 million) strengthen the balance sheet.
