Hyundai Motor India posted Q1 FY27 standalone revenue of about Rs 15,865 crore, marginally lower year on year. Profit after tax fell to Rs 883 crore from Rs 1,336 crore, down about 34%. Standalone EPS was Rs 10.87 versus Rs 16.44 last year. Consolidated PAT stood at Rs 889 crore. Board fixed August 5 as record date for final dividend of Rs 21 per share. Director-level changes including new Whole-time Director Mukundan MS from September 1 were also approved.
Weak Q1 earnings and margin pressure may weigh on the stock in the near term, though the dividend record date offers a supportive trigger for shareholders.
