IFGL Refractories is terminating its Joint Venture Agreement dated October 14, 2024 with Marvels International (Seychelles) and Marvel Refractories (Anshan, China). The JV was meant for manufacturing refractory bricks in India through IFGL-Marvels Refractories Ltd, planned at 51 percent IFGL and 49 percent Marvel. Marvel never subscribed to its shares, so IFGL already holds 100 percent of the JV entity. Termination is by mutual discussion. A separate Representation Agreement with Marvel Refractories will also end on November 9, 2026.
No material financial or operational impact expected. JV entity remains fully owned by IFGL as Marvel never invested.
