Indian Oil Corporation has informed the stock exchanges about a change in its board. Shri Nachimuthu Senthil Kumar, Director (Pipelines), retired (superannuated) from the company on 30th June 2025 and ceased to be a Director with effect from 1st July 2025. To fill the gap on a temporary basis, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has given the additional charge of Director (Pipelines) to Shri Arvind Kumar, who is already the Director (Refineries) at IndianOil. This additional charge is for a period of three months from 1st July 2025, or until a regular appointee is named, whichever is earlier. No new external appointment has been made.
This is a routine, pre-scheduled leadership transition at Indian Oil and is unlikely to have any material impact on the stock price or operations. The temporary additional charge arrangement ensures continuity in the Pipelines division, and a permanent appointment is expected within three months.
