Indian Overseas Bank posted strong Q3 FY26 results. Standalone net profit rose 56% YoY to Rs 1,365 cr (9M up 62% to Rs 3,703 cr). Total income grew 15% YoY to Rs 9,672 cr (9M up 13% to Rs 27,752 cr). Gross NPA improved to 1.54% from 2.55% YoY; Net NPA at 0.24%. Capital adequacy 16.30%, Provision Coverage 97.49%. Bank received Rs 1,141 cr income tax refund and shifted to lower 25.168% tax regime. Strong profit growth and sharply improved asset quality are positive. Realizability of the large deferred tax asset remains a key watchpoint.
