On the reaction day the stock moved 0.1 pts more than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.5 pts less than its Tour Travel Related Services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
IRCTC has signed an MoU with Quality Council of India (QCI) for digital third-party food safety and hygiene audits across all its train and station catering units. QCI will run unannounced quarterly and half-yearly inspections using a mobile app with geo-tagging, photo proof, and 24-hour audit reports to enforce FSSAI standards and vendor accountability through CAPA tracking.
Positive for brand image and passenger trust; strengthens food quality standards and may reduce catering complaints over time.
