Indo Amines' Vadodara plant at Village Tundav, Savli, which was ordered shut by Gujarat Pollution Control Board on July 21, 2026 over Water and Air Act violations, has received revocation orders dated August 11, 2026. GPCB revoked the closure after its July 31 inspection found corrective measures satisfactory. Revocation is valid for three months subject to conditions. Company paid five lakh seventy thousand rupees as interim environment damage compensation and submitted a bank guarantee of five lakh rupees valid till September 30, 2027. Other plants remain operational.
Positive, as plant can resume manufacturing for three months, removing the earlier shutdown overhang, though renewal depends on continued compliance.
