Indus Towers reported strong full-year FY25 results with consolidated revenue of Rs. 30,123 Crores, up 5.3% year-on-year. Full-year EBITDA jumped 41.9% to Rs. 20,845 Crores, and profit after tax surged 64.5% to Rs. 9,932 Crores, reflecting significant margin expansion. In Q4 alone, revenue rose 7.4% to Rs. 7,727 Crores and EBITDA grew 7.1% to Rs. 4,395 Crores, though Q4 net profit dipped 4% to Rs. 1,779 Crores. The company also acquired 10,380 macro towers and 2,226 lean co-locations from Bharti Airtel during the quarter, treated as a common control transaction under Ind AS 103, which required restatement of prior results. The tower base now stands at 249,305 with a closing sharing factor of 1.63, and return on equity (post-tax) improved sharply to 33.4% from 25.1% a year ago.
A strong full-year performance with sharp profit growth and margin expansion is positive for shareholders, though the slight Q4 profit dip and restatement due to the related-party acquisition from Bharti Airtel are worth noting. Overall, the results reinforce the company's leadership in tower infrastructure and healthy cash generation.
