IndusInd Bank reported Q1 FY27 results. Standalone net profit rose about 28.5 percent YoY to Rs 684.25 crore. Consolidated PAT was nearly flat at Rs 604 crore versus Rs 594 crore. Total income slipped slightly to Rs 12,719 crore (consolidated). Asset quality improved with Gross NPA at 3.25 percent and Net NPA at 0.51 percent (standalone). Capital adequacy was strong at 17.48 percent. Board approved raising Rs 20,000 crore via debt and Rs 10,000 crore via equity instruments. Auditors flagged an emphasis of matter on subsidiary BFIL's pending review. AGM on August 27, 2026.
Strong standalone earnings and better asset quality are positives; large Rs 30,000 cr capital raise may cause equity dilution. BFIL overhang remains.
