IndusInd Bank reported unaudited Q2 FY27 consolidated profit of Rs 172.5 crore, versus a Rs 13.7 crore loss a year earlier. Half-year profit was Rs 2,305 crore against Rs 197 crore. Q2 gross segment revenue rose 23.5% to Rs 15,098 crore. Q1 included a Rs 5,868.24 crore transfer from investment reserves. Gross bad-loan ratio rose to 2.13% from 0.83%; net ratio was 0.63%. Auditors found no material issue in the reviewed numbers.
Profit turnaround and revenue growth support sentiment, but the rising gross bad-loan ratio could limit the lasting benefit for shareholders.
