Intellect Design Arena has announced a collaboration with AU Small Finance Bank, India's largest Small Finance Bank, to deploy its Purple Fabric AI platform. AU SFB, which serves over 1.2 crore customers across 2,790 banking touchpoints, aims to become an AI-first bank using this enterprise AI platform. The bank will leverage PF Credit agents for AI-powered credit assessments and real-time customer data analysis. This is described as a defining milestone in enterprise AI adoption in Indian banking, with Intellect providing model flexibility and domain-driven intelligence capabilities.
The deal win represents a significant client addition for Intellect, bringing a large-scale banking customer with universal bank aspirations. While no financial terms were disclosed, the scale of AU SFB (₹1.4 lakh crore loan portfolio) suggests this could be a meaningful contract. For Intellect shareholders, this reinforces the company's position in AI-first banking solutions.
