SJVN Limited's wholly owned subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), has achieved commercial operation of an additional 100.25 MW of capacity at the Bikaner Solar Power Project on 30/06/2025. The total commissioned capacity at the project now stands at 400.77 MW out of the planned 1000 MW. The remaining capacity is expected to be commissioned soon. SJVN is a Navratna CPSE joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, primarily engaged in power generation with a growing renewable energy portfolio.
Positive for shareholders as each COD milestone means the Bikaner project starts contributing to SJVN's power generation revenue. With roughly 600 MW still pending commissioning, further revenue additions are expected in the coming months, supporting the company's renewable energy growth story.
