ARSS Infrastructure Projects Ltd has received a subcontract worth Rs. 80.20 crore from ABCI-SCPL (JV) for construction work. The project involves building a Road Over Bridge (ROB) span with composite and RCC girders between Mandasa Road and Summadevi stations on the KUR-PSA main line under East Coast Railway's Khurda Road Division. The work is on a back-to-back basis with a 5% commission payable to the main contractor, and must be completed within 24 months. Notably, the company is currently under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) and is implementing its Resolution Plan. The original contract was awarded to ABCI-SCPL (JV) by East Coast Railway via LOA dated September 12, 2025.
This is a positive development as the order provides revenue visibility of ~Rs 80 crore over 24 months for a company currently under insolvency resolution. However, execution risks remain given the company's ongoing CIRP status and the back-to-back subcontract nature of the work.
