On the reaction day the stock moved 0.2 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.2 pts less than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

IOLCP plans to raise Ibuprofen capacity from 12,000 to 18,000 MT annually by December 2027, requiring about Rs 350 crore. It has also installed a 1,500 million-tablet formulation facility at a cost of Rs 110 crore, expected to begin commercial operations in Q3 FY2027, and will spend Rs 35 crore on a specialty chemicals facility under a long-term tolling agreement. All projects are funded through internal accruals.
The investments could expand revenue and customer reach, but execution, commercialization delays and higher spending may pressure near-term returns.
