ION Exchange has begun stage-wise commissioning of a new greenfield resin manufacturing plant in Roha, Maharashtra, with a total planned capacity of 42,600 cubic metres per annum. The first phase of 3,696 cubic metres (around 8.7% of total capacity) was successfully commissioned on September 30, 2025, meeting all quality parameters. The remaining capacity will be progressively brought online over the coming weeks, following safety protocols. The plant supports the government's 'Make in India' initiative and aims to capture rising global demand using environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.
This capacity addition strengthens ION Exchange's long-term growth potential and ability to serve global markets, though financial benefits will build gradually as more capacity is commissioned. It is a positive operational milestone for shareholders.
