ITI Limited has received Rs.16 Crores as Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) from the Central GST Department for the sale of a 21-acre land parcel in K.R. Puram, Bengaluru. The EMD is 2 percent of the indicative transaction value of Rs.800 Crores. Final valuation will be determined by NLMC. The EMD will be adjusted against the final sale value. This is a major asset monetization event for ITI, a Government of India undertaking.
Significant land monetization. Potential Rs.800 Crore inflow could strengthen ITI's cash position and unlock shareholder value.
