J.A. Finance reported Q1 FY27 (quarter ended 30 June 2026) results. Total income fell to 52.11 lakhs from 73.45 lakhs YoY, a decline of about 29%. Despite this, net profit after tax rose to 23.33 lakhs from 18.62 lakhs (around 25% growth), helped by lower finance costs and impairment charges. Net profit margin expanded sharply to 44.77% from 25.35%. Capital adequacy ratio remained strong at 88.13%. Statutory auditor S K Naredi and Co LLP issued an unmodified limited review report.
Mixed signals: weaker revenue offset by 25% PAT growth and margin expansion. Capital adequacy strong at 88%. Watch for sustained earnings improvement.
