J&K Bank has signed an Escrow Agreement with MetLife International Holdings and Barclays entities for the sale of its 0.5% stake in PNB MetLife India Insurance Company. Shares will be sold at about Rs. 117.20 per equity share for a total deal value of about Rs. 120.10 crore. Barclays Wealth Trustees will act as Share Escrow Agent and Barclays Bank PLC as Cash Escrow Agent. This follows the Share Purchase Agreement already signed on July 17, 2026. The transaction is not a related party deal.
Bank will receive about Rs. 120 crore from divesting its small 0.5% stake; minor financial impact for the bank overall.
