Jana Small Finance Bank reported Q2 FY27 profit after tax of Rs 170 crore, up 127% year on year, and operating income of Rs 1,047 crore, up about 23%. Gross loans grew 22% and deposits 17%. GNPA was 2.17%, NNPA 1.08%, and capital adequacy 20.0%. FY27 profit guidance was raised to 100% year-on-year growth.
Strong profit growth, improved efficiency and a raised outlook support sentiment, though higher provisions and the NNPA target warrant monitoring.
