Jana Small Finance Bank posted Q3 FY26 total income of about Rs 1,629 crore, up about 20% YoY, but net profit collapsed 91% YoY to just Rs 9.7 crore as provisions nearly doubled to Rs 277 crore. For 9M FY26, PAT fell about 51% to Rs 186.6 crore. Gross NPA improved to 2.59% from 2.80% YoY and capital adequacy ratio stood strong at 19.17%, but return on assets fell to 0.62% from 1.52%.
Sharp jump in provisions crushed earnings despite decent income growth and stable asset quality, signalling weak near term profitability for the stock.
