JD Cables Limited has received a new work order valued at ₹163 crores from Kaushal Engineering Limited (KEL) for civil and electrical works on a National Highway Development Project in Jharkhand. This order is a continuation of an earlier ₹244 crores order dated 23rd December 2025, taking the cumulative order value from KEL to ₹407 crores. The project involves six-laning of the Bihar–Jharkhand border (Chordaha to Gorhar) section of NH-2 under NHDP Phase V, covering VUP, bridges, and electrical works. Completion is targeted within 9 months. Management highlighted that the repeat order reflects confidence in the company's execution quality, and additional engineers have been recruited to handle the expanded scope.
