Jigar Cables' board approved setting up a new manufacturing facility at Gomta, Rajkot, where the company had earlier purchased industrial property (factory land and building). The new unit will manufacture HT Cables, Medium Voltage Control Cables (MVCC), and Power and Control Cables (PCC), all in the electrical wires and cables category, targeting the domestic market. The installed capacity at the new facility is planned at 500 KM per month, to be scaled up based on demand.
