On the reaction day the stock moved 1.2 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.3 pts less than its Iron & Steel peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY27 revenue rose 18.2% year on year to INR 12,874 crore, while EBITDA increased 3.2% to INR 1,433 crore and profit rose 11.1% to INR 898 crore. Sales grew 2.5% to 664,378 tonnes and exports jumped 36%. Net debt was INR 3,121 crore. Chinese import pressure remains a risk.
Higher profits, stronger exports and low debt support investor sentiment, but rising imports may pressure prices and margins.
