J.Kumar Infraprojects reported flat revenue of Rs 5,693 crore for FY26 vs Rs 5,693 crore in FY25, with PAT declining 1.8% to Rs 383.55 crore (standalone). Consolidated PAT was Rs 386.58 crore vs Rs 391.21 crore. Q4 standalone revenue was Rs 1,572.53 crore. The company booked an exceptional item of Rs 12.37 crore (Rs 1,236.61 Lakhs) due to incremental statutory impact of new Labour Codes. EPS stood at Rs 50.69 (standalone). The Board recommended dividend of Rs 4 per share (80% on face value of Rs 5). Operating cash flow was strong at Rs 1,116.45 crore, up significantly from Rs 375.29 crore in the prior year. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Cash and cash equivalents nearly tripled to Rs 203.09 crore.
Revenue growth was negligible and profit declined slightly year-on-year, which is a concern for shareholders. The strong jump in operating cash flow and tripling of cash reserves are positives. The exceptional labour code charge is non-recurring and should not affect normalised earnings.
