John Cockerill India, along with its wholly owned subsidiary John Cockerill Metal International SA (JCMI), has received a Letter of Intent from JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited for designing, engineering, supplying, and commissioning two Annealing & Coating Lines and one Annealing & Pickling Line for the CRNO Project. The aggregate contract value is approximately INR 1,250–1,300 Crores, with JCIL's direct share being around INR 550 Crores, JCMI's share at EUR 30–35 Million, and a consortium (furnace supplier) portion of about INR 400 Crores. The order is domestic, to be executed within 36 months from May 2026, and is not a related-party transaction.
This is a sizeable order for John Cockerill India that should provide significant revenue visibility over the next three years and strengthen its order book. The association with the JSW Group also signals continued trust from a major domestic steel player, which is a positive for shareholders.
