NSE asked JSW Dulux about a news item saying Akzo Nobel rejected Nippon's USD 8.6 billion offer for its paint business. The company clarified that since 10 December 2025, it is no longer part of the Akzo Nobel group. Its erstwhile promoters (ICI Ltd and Akzo Nobel Coatings International BV) sold their stake to JSW Paints Limited, and the company was renamed from Akzo Nobel India Limited to JSW Dulux Limited. Hence the news does not pertain to JSW Dulux.
No direct impact on shareholders. Confirms JSW Dulux is fully under JSW Paints and independent of Akzo Nobel's global decisions.
