JSW Energy has commissioned its wind blade manufacturing plant at Halol, Gujarat, with annual capacity of 450 blades equivalent to 600 MW. The plant will produce 82-metre blades for 4 MW turbines. This move vertically integrates the company's wind energy value chain and reduces supply chain risk. JSW Energy operates 3.9 GW of wind capacity with 8.9 GW of locked-in wind and hybrid projects. A similar plant at Chitradurga, Karnataka is in advanced commissioning stages. The company targets 30 GW of generation capacity by 2030.
Strengthens supply chain, cuts wind project costs, and supports JSW Energy's renewable growth and 2030 capacity targets.
