JSW Neo Energy, JSW Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary, has completed acquiring Tidong Power Generation from Statkraft for an enterprise value of about 1,728 crore rupees. Tidong Power is building a 150 MW run-of-river hydro plant in Himachal Pradesh, expected to commission by October 2026. It has a 75 MW PPA with UP Power Corporation at 5.57 rupees per unit. This is JSW Energy's fourth hydro asset in Himachal Pradesh.
Adds 150 MW hydro capacity, expected to boost EBITDA in FY27 and reinforces JSW's position as India's largest private hydropower player.
