JSW Energy (Utkal), a subsidiary, signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with multiple Karnataka DISCOMs to supply 400 MW of power starting April 1, 2026, at a tariff of Rs 5.78 per kWh. This reduces the company's open capacity to about 5% from 8% of operational capacity. Total locked-in generation capacity now stands at 30.5 GW, with 13.3 GW operational and 12.4 GW under construction. Energy storage locked-in capacity is 29.4 GWh.
Strengthens long-term revenue visibility with a 25-year locked-in PPA, reducing open capacity to about 5% and de-risking the generation portfolio.
